Soda
blasting is an effective way of removing paint from helicopter
airframes. Traditional methods require the use of chemicals or sanding
which can be labour intensive. Soda blasting will not damage the frame
or panels.
Soda
blasting can also effectively strip paint from aircraft wheels. This
can substantially reduce the number of man-hours required for paint
stripping
in comparison to chemical stripping.
